Ace Frehley was easily the coolest member to ever wear the greasepaint, do doubt about it. We can argue all day, who the most “important” member of Kiss was, it was always obvious that Space Ace was the coolest. First off, he was the only one in the band who was a real rock and roll rebel. He sang songs about that were either about getting fucked, getting fucked-up, or going to space, and most often in the same song. He left the band (no matter the circumstances) when it was cool to get out, and came back in when it was cool to come back in, and left again when it was cool to leave again.
