Did anyone watch Celebrity Apprentice? I was shocked when Gene got the “You’re fired” from Trump (did you notice that The Donald doesn’t do the the pinch-of-salt gesture when he fires? It’s more of a gun move) last night. NOT! I knew from the previews that it was going to be Gene, but I was sure it’s because the game is rigged. I thought they made a deal with him for some cross promotion with his A&E show and that they would let him go a few episodes in. I also suspected that even if it wasn’t fixed, that he would eventualy drive his teamates nuts and they would throw him under the bus. Jim Cramer from “Mad Money” was the special guest, and as you’ll see in this LINK HERE he insists that the show was on the up and up. He seems to be in awe of Gene’s branding savvy.Once they appointed Gene the leader of the girl’s team, I knew that was it, even as Trump was trying to save him. Gene had no problem telling Kodak that they were wrong, and the fact is, Gene has the clout to stick to his guns. It’s his face that was put on a coke bottle, and as you’ll see below with this Hannah Montana video, his , brand (kiss) continues to sell draw in new consumers. But did he hang himself on purpose to go back to work for himself? or did he hang himself just because he’s a flirt and a stubborn boob? I don’t know, you watch it and decide for yourself, but think about this: when the Kiss reuinion tour was happening, Donald Trump was photographed in the Madison Square Garden crowd. Gene may admire The Donald’s ability to sell “himself” as a brand, he may have even read his books, but I don’t think he shows up to Trumps live-appearances/seminars. I don’t know GENE/KISS Vs. TRUMP? It’s a good fight.
